Membership Qualifications
1. A graduate of BS Materials Engineering or BS Materials Science and Engineering; or
2. A graduate of doctorate degree in Materials Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in engineering; or
3. Those who have the following qualifications:

a graduate with a BS in any allied engineering field and had an accumulated fifteen (15) years of relevant practice in materials engineering in any of the materials engineering scope of practice as defined by the IMEP Board and is certified by the employer and/or approved by the IMEP Board; or​

a graduate of doctorate degree in any allied engineering and had an accumulated seven (7) years of relevant practice in materials engineering in any of the materials engineering scope of practice as defined by the IMEP Board and is certified by the employer and/or approved by the IMEP Board.
Regular Member
Associate Member
1. A graduate of BS Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized school engaged in the practice of Materials Engineering;
2. A graduate of MS in Materials Science and Engineering
3. A graduate of other Engineering degrees and allied fields engaged in the practice of Materials Engineering.
Student Member
Any individual who is at least in the Junior year of studies in BS Materials Engineering or BS Materials Science and Engineering and allied Engineering fields

Complete the membership application form and email it to imep.inc@gmail.com. Include copies of your degree certificate, CV, and other supporting documents.
2 / Pay the annual membership fees (Once pre-approved)
Student: P200
Regular/Associate: P1,000 annual or P5,000 lifetime
3 / Send Proof of Payment
Email proof of payment to imep.inc@gmail.com.
4 / Receive Notification
Receive your official IMEP receipt and membership certificate by the end of the application cycle.
