About the Conference
The International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering in the Philippines (ICMSEP) is a premier biennial event organized by the Institute of Materials Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IMEP), the sole professional organization for Materials Engineers in the Philippines.
A Platform for Sharing Innovation
ICMSEP brings together leading researchers, industry professionals, and students to exchange knowledge and advancements in various material science fields. These include metals, polymers, ceramics, semiconductors, energy materials, composites, biomaterials, eco-materials, nanomaterials, emerging materials, and related technologies.
A Diverse and Engaged Audience
Past ICMSEP conferences (2018, 2022) and IMEP conferences (2014, 2016) attracted attendees from academia, industry, and government sectors. Participants typically include materials engineers, allied engineering professionals, educators, scientists, researchers, and students from leading Philippine universities and international institutions (USA, Japan, Taiwan). Additionally, representatives from the semiconductor, mining, and consumer product manufacturing industries attend the conference.
Expanding Reach in 2024
This year, ICMSEP will adopt a hybrid format, maximizing its reach. With members from academic, research institutions, and various industries since its inception, ICMSEP anticipates a larger audience. The conference will also be co-located with events organized by partner organizations:

Submission of Papers
Accepted papers with proper registration and presentation will be recommended for publication in Key Engineering Materials Journal of Scientific.Net Collection. Papers will be sent for indexing by Scopus, Inspec, Chemical Abstracts Service, Google Scholar etc.
