Guidelines for Presenters
ONSITE ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The maximum allocated time for the oral presentation is 12 minutes, followed by a Question-and-Answer session of 2 – 3 minutes.

There is no prescribed template, but please use a slide size of Standard (4:3)

Submit a copy of the presentation file on or before 3 pm on October 28, 2024. The file should either be in PowerPoint or pdf format. Videos, animations, special fonts, etc., should already be embedded in the file. Files can be sent to imep.inc@gmail.com or submitted on a USB drive during the registration on October 28.

Follow this filename format: [Paper Reference No.: Surname], (e.g., “S2-05: Cruz”).

The venue is equipped with a laptop that already contains your presentation file, LCD projector, microphones, and a clicker/laser pointer. Please note that you cannot use your own laptop for your presentation. Speakers are expected to be in their respective venues 20 minutes before their designated timeslots. Please inform the session chair/assistant of your arrival.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS

There is no prescribed template for posters. However, posters should be printed in advance with dimensions conforming to size A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches). The orientation should be in portrait. Please note that there are no poster printing services at the venue. Participants are also requested to bring their own mounting or double-sided tape. Only poster stands, and reference number labels will be provided by the conference organizers.

Participants can put up their posters by October 28. The venue for the poster session is at the Pre-function Area, Crystal North Hall and Crystal South Hall. Please put up your posters at the designated stands corresponding to your assigned reference numbers.

The posters are viewable throughout the duration of the conference. However, the designated time for the poster sessions is on October 29, from 4:35 – 6:00 pm. During this period, the authors are expected to be in front of their respective posters to address questions from visitors and poster presentation judges.
FULL PAPER PUBLICATION
Accepted papers with proper registration and presentation will be published in Key Engineering Materials (KEM) Journal of Scientific.Net collection. Papers will be sent for indexing by Scopus, Inspec, Chemical Abstracts Service, Google Scholar etc.

Key Engineering Materials (KEM) is a peer-reviewed periodical which covers entire range of basic and applied aspects of the synthesis and research, modelling, processing and application of advanced engineering materials.

Assist and recommend publication in SCOPUS indexed journals with SCIMAGO rank of Q1 and Q2. Additional cost for high Quartile Journals will be shouldered by the authors.
